Hillstomp

Dubbed both junkbox and hill country blues stomp, Hillstomp provides a fresh, toe-tapping, body heaving sound like no other. Expect a rambunctious slide guitar partnered with the clanging, banging, and tumbling on buckets and can lids. Trust us, it totally works.

The entire Hillstomp band consists of Hurricane Henry on guitar and Lord Johnny Buckets on, big surprise, the buckets. Based out of Portland, Oregon, these boys are ripe for a Portlandia episode.

Some of their more famous moments include their musical appearance on the third season of “Sons of Anarchy” and being named Album of the Year in 2005 by Portland alternative weekly Willamette Week.
